BRIA KELLY
Bria won the Altavista (WKDE) Colgate Country Showdown competition
on June 6th, 2009! From here, she goes to the state fair in Richmond
in September to compete with other VA and MD local winners.
If she wins there, she goes on to one regional competition,
and then possibly to the nationally-televised finals in Nashville!
The Colgate Country Showdown winner takes home $100,000!
Many thanks to Nash Street for all their help and advice!

On the streets of Nashville during CMA Music Fest 2009,
with the members of Nash Street (national winners of
the 2007 Colgate Country Showdown)
(L-to-R): Clay, Caroline, Bria, Hannah, Jason, and Daniel!

Bria performed at the same club that
Alan Jackson performed at just a few days earlier.
Videos will be posted soon on YouTube!
Cassie Donegan sang our National Anthem
at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront on Sunday, May 31st
for the USO's Patriotic Festival.
(Due to a schedule conflict, Bria
was unable to perform there this year,
so we suggested this phenomenal singer to them).
She got to meet one her "Idols", David Cook, as you can see here:

Bria's voice can't be described by only one simple motto, so here are our favorites,
actually compiled from her fan comments on YouTube:
"Bria's voice goes beyond the ears ... it gets into the heart."
"Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, sings the Anthem like you!"
"The Voice of an Angel"
"I'm gonna go pick my jaw up off the floor now ... brilliantly amazing."(We know this not really a motto, but we REALLY liked the sentiment!)
Bria has proudly performed our National Anthem for:

13-year-old Bria Kelly is a Hampton Roads native who has
been compared to a young Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood or Martina McBride. Bria’s voice is crystal clear, powerful and emotional, and has been said on many occasions to
give people goosebumps and chills.
Beginning her professional singing career at age 11, she has performed for the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, the Air Force and Navy, the Norfolk Admirals, Norfolk Tides, Richmond Renegades, Virginia Congressman Randy Forbes, the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69), the City of Virginia Beach, and many others!
She has opened via the Anthem for celebrities such as Tracy Lawrence, Travis Tritt, REO Speedwagon, Darius Rucker, Drew Davis Band, Sara Evans, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Heidi Newfield and Rodney Atkins.
Her unique voice continues to get her invited to event... after event... after event...
Future performances include the commissioning of our country's newest nuclear-powered submarine, the USS NEW MEXICO (SSN-779), the Virginia State Fair, and even at the White House! Click on the "Future Appearances" menu button below for an up-to-date listing!
